Feldspars
Feldspars

Feldspars are anhydrous aluminosilicates originated by the crystallization of eruptive rocks representing, at the same time, the most frequent rock-forming element. According to the prevailing component we can define potassium, sodium-potassium and sodium-calcium feldspars.

The magnetically separated feldspars are suitable, as for their composition, especially for the production of packing glass, glazes and porcelain. We achieve the necessary properties of the resulting products by suitable mixing of feldspar raw materials, by crushing, dry milling, and with the help of a multiple-level sorting of grist.

Mixtures of feldspar-silicious rocks are used as fluxing agents in the entire branch of the ceramics industry. The necessary properties of the resulting products are achieved by a suitable mixing of feldspar raw materials, by crushing, dry milling, and with the help of a multiple-level sorting of grist.

These raw materials are used, thanks to their high melting capacity, especially for the production of frits and enamels.
