The typical characteristics of kaolin clays are, first of all: good sintering properties, from medium to high binding capacity, and a hard compact body. These clays are used as a binding and refractory component in terms of the production of refractory materials, having a high compactness and strength, both in the dry condition as well as for the firing.

Use: They are used in terms of the production of paving stones, sintered tiles, tiles, chamottes, enamels, roof tiles, electroprocelain, graphite crucibles, stack inserts and of utility ceramics.
Forwarding possibilities: They are delivered homogenized or granulated in bulk in trucks or in wagons. Clays are also treated by drying, milling or micro-milling. Their forwarding is possible also in big bags, paper bags or in silo-tanks.
