These are kaolinit clays with a low content of free quartz and mica. Their typical features are: porousness of the body and a white to grey-white burning colour. They possess a high degree of refractoriness as well as of the sintering temperature, a sufficient strength and binding capacity.

Usage: They are used in terms of the production of porous goods with a white-burning body, especially of porcelain, electroporcelain, sanitary ceramics, lightened chamottes and stove-fitters´ chamottes.
Forwarding possibilities: They are delivered mostly as homogenized
and granulated in bulk in trucks or in wagons. Clays are treated by drying and
milling as well. Then, it is possible to forward them in big bags, paper bags or
in silo-tanks.
