Paper industry

Paper production is based on cellulose fibres obtained from groundwood, pulp, thermomechanical pulp or recycled paper. Mineral fillers and pigments are, however, becoming increasingly important in achieving the required properties of paper and board products.

Kaolin is one of the most important mineral raw materials used in the paper industry. It serves both as a filler and as a coating pigment, improving the brightness, opacity, surface smoothness and printability of paper. These properties make it possible to produce high-quality paper and board products for both printing and packaging applications. Consistent quality, expert know-how and reliable deliveries form the basis of our long-term cooperation with customers.
